Technicians

Maintenance made simple.

Assign maintenance to a technician in the web app. They finish the tasks and log the parts from the technician app.

Office to shop floor

Assign it at the desk. Finish it on the phone.

The office assigns a maintenance record to a technician. The technician ticks off the tasks, logs the parts and marks the job completed from the technician app.

In the web app, the maintenance record for Coach 21, brakes pulling left, is assigned to technician K. Osei, with three tasks and two parts. In the technician app, K. Osei has ticked all three tasks, both parts are received, and the Mark Completed button is ready.

Questions

How does a technician get a job?

The office assigns a maintenance record to them. The job shows in the technician's list in the app.

What can technicians do in the app?

See their jobs, tick off tasks, add and update parts, set a job to waiting for parts or completed, and read a coach's maintenance history.

Do you track technician credentials?

Yes. Dates such as COQ, MVIS and ASE are tracked, and expiring ones show on the attention list.

Do technicians need the app?

No. The office can update records in the web app, but the app saves a trip to the desk.

Are hours pulled from jobs automatically?

Maintenance clock time appears as a hint. You set the hours.
